ePTFE Joint Sealant Tape is a very versatile gasket tape. These soft gasket tapes are highly compressible, allowing them to offer sealing along surfaces with even minor gaps and crevices.
Our ePTFE Joint Sealant Tapes come with a one-side adhesive backing and are available in all standard cross sections. Customizable dimensions are also available on request. Gaskets made from PTFE and ePTFE (expanded PTFE gasket) offer excellent chemical resistance, withstand high temperatures, and can provide sealing in pressures of up to 100 Bar.
The uniqueness of its properties makes ePTFE a highly sought-after material in applications requiring Joint sealing, Insulation (temperature and electrical) and Vibration dampening.
100% expanded ptfe sheet
Expanded PTFE sheet is made from 100% expanded PTFE. A soft gasket material designed for high performance service in extreme caustic to acid chemicals. This material has all the benefits of Virgin PTFE sheet, but with significantly less creep and cold flow that is commonly associated with Virgin PTFE. It conforms to rough sealing surfaces yet compresses into an extremely tough gasket that makes a tight, long lasting seal. Expanding Virgin PTFE inherently has no structural weakness because it has a uniform and highly fibrillated microstructure with equal tensile strength in all directions.

Multi-Directionally Expanded PTFE Gasket Tape
Gasket Tape is a soft flange gasket material made from Multi- Directionally Expanded PTFE. The multi-directional expansion results in a material with superior Creep Resistance compared with other PTFE gasket materials. It is made of 100% PTFE for excellent chemical resistance, is packaged on a spool, and contains an adhesive backing for easy installation. Our gasket Tape is available in thicknesses of 1/8” and 1/4", and widths of 1/2", 3/4", 1”, 1.25", 1.5” & 2”.
Gasket tape is ideal for: Large flanges / Glass-lined and plastic flanges / Flanges with limited available space / Where compressed thickness is important.
